It goes without saying, San Diego Comic-Con is the mecca for cosplayers to strut their stuff in front of the tens of thousands who venture into and outside of the convention center each year. From beginners to expert, cosplayers from around the globe showcase their love for their favorite characters. And no matter how talented these people are, the most important thing is that they are having fun. Check out the entire gallery of cosplayers Turn The Right Corner was able to snap photos of this year at SDCC.
In my opinion, I thought Comic-Con 2013 topped last years cosplayers by a mile. I thought everyone had done a really great job with their costumes this year and the variety was a lot greater. Although there was a lot of similar cosplays, such as Iron Man, I felt each had their own flare to them that made them differentiate from one another. There was a lot of love for The Walking Dead, Assassin’s Creed, Harley Quinn, Mortal Kombat, Catwoman, Doctor Who, Link and Zelda, Deadpool, and Poison Ivy.
From what i saw, there was also a handful of Ms. Marvels, Lara Crofts, Korra (The Legend of Korra), and Sith Lords. Surprisingly, I only saw one Slave Leia and one Pedobear. I did manage to find Carmen San Diego as well as Waldo. There was also a few furries.
Some of the best cosplay I loved seeing was Winry from Fullmetal Alchemist, Sharknado, Wreck-It Ralph, Beetlejuice, Mr. Freeze, Daft Punk, a female Ash from The Evil Dead 2, and Kiki from Kiki’s Delivery Service.
Down below you’ll see the full gallery of cosplayers. I was able to bump into some notable cosplayers such as Monika Lee and Rosanna Rocha, but I was shocked that I did not see Jessica Nigri anywhere. She’s usually always out and about, but this year it appeared she laid low.
Enjoy the gallery! If you see yourself, let me know and I will put credit where credit’s due.

Unfortunately I wasn’t able to photograph every cosplayer at Comic-Con, but here’s a really fantastic music video that the guys at SneakyZebra put together showcasing a lot of the incredible cosplay I missed. It also makes me really want Comic-Con 2014 to happen immediately.
