Trophies and achievements practically go hand in hand these days in the video game world. When Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriotsreleased back in the summer of 2008, trophies were a mere month away before they debuted on the PlayStation Network. Now, after four years of being one of the most revered games of the PS3, MGS4 fans will now have the chance to revisit the game to obtain its trophies.
Thanks to Konami, all trophies are now available through free DLC that went live August 7. This download will be automatically implemented as soon as you log into PSN with Metal Gear Solid 4 in your PlayStation 3 console.

Players will be rewarded with these 34 new trophies for Easter eggs and other various tasks that are listed below. Ranging from all difficulties, this trophy list will be no easy task to complete.

1. The Legendary Hero (Platinum) — Obtained all trophies.
2. You enjoy all the killing, that’s why. (Bronze) — Killed many enemies in one area, and vomited.
3. Divine Wind (Silver) — Caused a “divine wind” using the Tanegashima.
4. Hands Up! (Bronze) — Held an enemy at gunpoint and performed a body check.
5. Flashback Mania (Gold) — Viewed all flashbacks.
6. SUNLIGHT! (Silver) — Obtained the Solar Gun.
7. Sounds of the Battlefield (Gold) — Obtained all iPod® tracks (excluding tracks obtained via password).
8. I Just Don’t Fear Death (Silver) — Ended ALERT status while wearing the Corpse Camo.
9. I am THE expert on weapons (Gold) — Obtained all weapons (excluding weapons obtained via password).
10. Ghost Photography Addict (Silver) — Snapped at least 5 shots of (30) ghosts on Shadow Moses Island.
11. FaceCamo Addict (Silver) — Obtained 10 or more types of FaceCamo (excluding types obtained via password).
12. Can you feel my power now!!!? (Silver) — Took control of an enemy’s body using the Mantis Doll or Sorrow Doll.
13. Emotion Control (Bronze) — Controlled an enemy ’s emotions using an Emotive Magazine.
14. Hurt me more! (Bronze) — Shocked an enemy  using Mk. II/III.
15. Drum Can Addict (Bronze) — Knocked an enemy  flying using a Drum Can.
16. Are you an Otaku too? (Silver) — Viewed all model posters.
17. You’re pretty good. (Silver) — Got kissed by Ocelot during the final battle.
18. That Tune Is His Mind Control Music (Bronze) — Played Oishii Two-han Seikatsu and made one of the BB Corps dance.
19. Overhead view — just like old times… (Bronze) — Used overhead view on Shadow Moses Island.
20. Liquid Sun (Bronze) — Cleared Act 1 (Middle East).
21. Solid Sun (Bronze) — Cleared Act 2 (South America).
22. Third Sun (Bronze) — Cleared Act 3 (Eastern Europe).
23. Twin Suns (Bronze) — Cleared Act 4 (Shadow Moses).
24. Old Sun (Bronze) — Cleared Act 5 (Outer Haven).
25. Laughing Octopus Doll (Bronze) — Defeated Laughing Octopus by non-lethal means, and obtained the Laughing Octopus Doll.
26. Frog Soldier Doll (Bronze) — Escaped the Haven Troopers in the Middle East by non-lethal means, and obtained the Frog Soldier Doll.
27. Raging Raven Doll (Bronze) — Defeated Raging Raven by non-lethal means, and obtained the Raging Raven Doll.
28. Crying Wolf Doll (Bronze) — Defeated Crying Wolf by non-lethal means, and obtained the Crying Wolf Doll.
29. Screaming Mantis Doll (Bronze) — Defeated Screaming Mantis by non-lethal means, and obtained the Screaming Mantis Doll.
30. Handle with Caution (Bronze) — Broke off the most important part of a statue.
31. Infinite ammo. (Gold) — Obtained the Bandana.
32. Stealth Camouflage (Gold) — Obtained the Stealth Camouflage.
33. Crop Circle (Silver) — Found a crop circle and heard a mysterious voice.
34. LIQUID! (Bronze) — Piloted Metal Gear REX and screamed at your enemy.

With this now unleashed upon the world, let’s hope Hideo Kojima will be hard at work with a Metal Gear Solid 5!
