Proclaimed as the world’s “first hyper-reality tour,” The Marvel Experience allows fans to fully engage in a highly engrossing environment that geeks of all ages can enjoy. Since its December 2014 debut in Phoenix, Marvel enthusiasts have been able to join their favorite superheroes including Iron Man, Spider-Man, Wolverine, Black Widow, The Hulk, and more into this one of a kind adventure. After waiting all day in lines, bumping elbows with fellow nerds, and walking around for a better part of the day, Comic-Con does not end when the sun sets. There are many fantastic parties where you may run into various celebrities, partake in food and drink, and obtain a lot of swag. Not only do these parties make the convention more enjoyable, but they make it unforgettable (depending on how much you drink). A number of these parties do require an RSVP or an invite, but there are a good amount that are still open to the public for free or at a minor cost. On average, it rains about 10 percent of the year in San Diego. It’s bad enough driving in this city when it’s dry and sunny, but when it rains everyone forgets how to turn on their headlights and decides to play bumper cars. San Diego has a great nightlife among its various neighborhoods, but as soon as the slightest precipitation rears its ugly head many become indifferent and the city comes to a complete halt. Recently, I had a chance to visit the new-ish Pussycat Dolls Dollhouse and luck would have it, the night I choose to visit, it rains. But from my experience, the energy would have told you otherwise.
