2012 Summer Olympic Games – Men’s Football (Soccer) Schedule and Results

London 2012 Olympic Games Mens Football Schedule

The 2012 London Olympics Games are here! Although the games have begun, I felt it necessary to still post a few schedules up of some of the most highly anticipated events that we’ll all be looking for. Football, futból, or soccer as we yanks like to call it has already seen its fair share of upsets and we’re only in the first round. There are still four more rounds to go, who will come up on top?!

Spain losing both opening matches have been the big upset this year. They have lost to Japan and as of today they have lost to Honduras, eliminating their chances of advancing to the quarter finals. The home team, Great Britain had an incredible second half against the United Arab Emirates placing them at the top of Group A. Korea and Mexico are looking good in Group B and Brazil has managed to stay on top as well.

Senegal is also looking to stay at the top of Group A with GB and Belarus have not sealed their fate to advance if they lose their next match. It’s going to be pretty exciting this Wednesday to see who will move on to the quarterfinals. This has been a very exciting year and no one is safe. May the best team win!
