Despite a disappointing run at the Emmy’s this year, Mad Men was still able to pull of a solid fifth season. As strange of a season it was – zou bisou bisou – the bad boys of Madison Ave continued to impress me with their intense and fantastic drama. Season five ended earlier this year and now it is your chance to own it on home video!
Beautifully crafted, Mad Menshines above the rest with its dazzling cinematography and devotion to the 1960s. Typically, I would buy shows on DVD because why waste the extra money just for the better quality and the same content when it is just a TV show. But Mad Men is more than just a TV show. This show is absolutely gorgeous, next to Breaking Bad, you cannot ask for better television on home video.
I might wait until Christmas to add season five into your library. I’ve seen the Mad Men blu-rays go as low as $9.99 during the holiday seasons. That’s like asking a zombie if they’d like to eat brains.
It’s always important to weigh the importance of a TV series buy when it comes to the special features and the complete fifth season of Mad Men is packed full of goodies.

Glad I could help!
