AMC Releases 20 ‘Mad Men’ Season 6 Cast Photos

Mad Men Season 6 Character Photos

Earlier this month, AMC released the first teaser photos from season 6 of Mad Men. For those who can’t wait any longer before the “Affair of the Year” comes back to Sunday nights, AMC has released 20 more additional cast photos and character portraits to hold you over until April 7. You can find Don, Roger, Joan, Pete and the rest of the gang after the break.

Finding themselves in the late ’60s, Cooper Sterling Draper Pryce isn’t looking back but rather moving forward into the ’70s. A lot had happened over the course of the tense and drama filled fifth season. As many people in the advertising industry know, you cannot afford to dwell on the past, but rather learn from your mistakes, grow, and evolve as the times change.

Despite what happened in season 5, in the photos above, it looks like Pete (Vincent Kartheiser) is quite happy with his wife Trudy (Alison Brie), but he has a look in his eye that makes me think he hasn’t changed too much. Peggy Olson (Elizabeth Moss) looks like she’s ready to strike a moments notice.

Rizzo has a new beard, we’ll have to wait and see what that’s all about. And Roger Sterling (John Slattery) continues to look like he’s about to keel over. And boy howdy, has Gene grown up or what? The latest addition to the Draper clan has gotten so big; and so has Sally (Kiernan Shipka).

MINOR SPOILER: Moving on past SCDP, I assume Peggy will grow a lot more this season to become the Don Draper she was born to be. END SPOILER.

Matthew Weiner keeps everything so close to the chest that the looks that everyone is giving in these photos could mean absolutely nothing. In some subtle way they must mean something, but Weiner will never tell you.

Mad Men season 6 begins Sunday, April 7 at 9 pm EST with a two hour episode entitled “The Doorway.” After the season premiere, the show will return to its regular time slot on Sunday, April 14 at 10/9 PM CST.
