The official teaser poster for Breaking Bad dropped recently, but now AMC has released an official poster for the final eight episodes of the series. How will showrunner Vince Gilligan approach the final moments of Walter White’s story? Perhaps there is something in this official poster’s tagline that will give us a hint at what to expect. Check out the full poster after the jump and see what this poster might be implying.
As television shows go, nothing in my mind can top the adrenaline rush that Breaking Bad brings. But Part 1 of Season 5 is quite different from the previous four, less rush and even more tension. Everything showrunner Vince Gilligan does stays close to the vest, and it will be sad, yet interesting to see how he will end the Walter White saga. When we last saw Walt, his life was shown at a peak of his career in the “Empire” business, while other events outside his life led viewers to believe he is not out of the clear quite yet.
In the poster below, the ominous words “Remember My Name” speak to me in two different ways. Could he be asking us to remember him as the great Heisenberg, drug kingpin of the ABQ or does Mr. White have a master plan to keep his family name safe? Walt is not wearing his infamous Heisenberg hat to signify his supremacy, but that doesn’t mean anything from such a simple poster. Gilligan doesn’t give much for fans to work with, but this will have to do until August rolls around.

Will Walt go down in infamy as Heiseneberg or will he find a way to keep the White name untarnished?
The epic conclusion of Breaking Bad begins Sunday, August 11 at 9/8 PM CST only on AMC.
