As we exit October, the Oscar season will start heating up. And with a Martin Scorsese film running wild this Christmas, the other studios will have all hands on deck. The second trailer for The Wolf of Wall Street is bigger and bolder, yet the film promises so much more. Watch the new trailer after the break.
Playtime is over. This new trailer delivers a little more of the plot while still integrating much of the Wall Street shenanigans. Stocks, money, drugs, booze, women, more drugs, and more money. The Wolf of Wall Street is determined to make this the biggest display of corporate, white collar greed the world has ever seen. And I cannot wait. If anyone can do it, Martin Scorsese is the man that can get the job done.
The thing that intrigues me the most about The Wolf of Wall Street is the relationship between Jonah Hill as Donnie Azoff and Leonardo DiCaprio as Belfort. Not the characters themselves, but how well the actors will be on screen together. It’s just such an unlikely pairing. Jack Dawson from Titanic and Seth from Superbad. Whomever could have guessed that these two actor would work together with Martin Scorsese in the driver’s seat must be some kind of warlock.
Here is the ploy synopsis for The Wolf of Wall Street, courtesy of IMDB.com:
Based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stock-broker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government.
Alongside DiCaprio and Hill, The Wolf of Wall Street also stars Margot Robbie, Rob Reiner, Kyle Chandler, Matthew McConaughey, Jon Bernthal, Jean Dujardin, Brian Sacca, Henry Zebrowski, Kenneth Choi, and P.J. Byrne.
The Wolf of Wall Street makes its way into theaters on Christmas Day 2013.
