More than likely you are still on a high from the Season 4 mid-season finale of The Walking Dead. What has come to be known as one of the most balls to the wall endings to a story line ever, there is still a whole half a season left for our heroes. Over the weekend, AMC was kind enough to release not one but two teaser trailers for fans in preparation for The Walking Dead when it returns Sunday, February 9. And for those who like to stay spoiler free, these trailers give absolutely nothing away. You can find both trailers after the break, along with 15 screenshots of your favorite characters.
As far as we know, and if you haven’t seen the first half of Season 4 yet I have no idea what you’re doing here, the group has been separated by the chaos The Governor brought on upon the prison. Without a place to call home, loved ones lost, and no where to go we find the group at their most vulnerable. How will they find one another, who will survive, and what horrors will they come across?
The Mid-Season Premiere trailer doesn’t give any hints as to what’s in store for fans. There’s a lot of action and no context. As a reader of the comic I have some ideas as to what’s coming ahead, but you can never be too sure when creator Robert Kirkman will swerve left when you think he’s going right.
And again in the “Don’t Look Back”trailer below, we are not given one lick of what to expect from the last eight episodes of Season 4. Rick has a nice little speech in this one, but I can’t tell if it’s a sound bite from the end of Season 2 or something new. He has so many similar speeches about hardships and surviving, it’s hard to keep track.

Although there isn’t any synopsis for what’s to come, fans of the comic have some sort of an idea. Once again, it will be interesting to see how much Kirkman will differentiate from the source material. I can’t wait to see.
The Walking Dead Season 4 mid-season premiere will air at 9/8c PM only on amc.
