The fates are smiling down upon us because Summit Entertainment is releasing Step Up: All In this summer, July 25. As one of TTRC’s most highly anticipated films of 2014, Step Up: All In (directed by Trish Sie) is bringing back the best of the best from all of the previously beloved Step Up movies. Alyson Stoner (Step Up/3D), Briana Evigan (Step Up 2), Adam Sevini (Step Up 2/3D/Rev), and Ryan Guzman (Step Up Revolution) are all returning, and you can check out the first look at Step Up: All In after the break.
I feel as though Step Up has become the Fast & Furious franchise of the dance dance revolution battle underworld. All the stakes are so intimate and determine nothing, and yet everything is on the line. Unfortunately Channing Tatum (Step Up), Sharni Vinson (Step Up 3D), Kathryn McCormick (Step Up Revolution) will not be involved, but at least it has my first Step Up crush Briana Evigan.

The plot of these movies get zanier while the dancing evolves to become better than ever. And this time Offspring Entertainment has gotten the band back together to invade Las Vegas. I hope Step Up 6 involves this cast versus Tatum, Vinson, and McCormick battling it out in Tokyo where they have to come to form an alliance to defeat the Yakuza, stopping the violence with their killer dance moves – that would be epic (call me Summit, let’s make a deal).
Here’s the official plot synopsis of Step Up: All In:
In the next exciting chapter of the international phenomenon Step Up, all-stars from previous installments come together in glittering Las Vegas, battling for a victory that could define their dreams and their careers.
All of the regular players are here Adam Shankman is producing the film as he does along with Jon M. Chu as an executive producer. They will be backing up first time feature film director Trish Sie who is a Grammy Award-winning choreographer best known for her work with OK Go on their music videos “Here it Goes Again,” “A Million Ways,” and “White Knuckles.”
