X-Men Days of Future Past Blu-Ray Release

As one of 2014’s best films thus far, earning itself $740 million worldwide, X-Men: Days of Future Past is an ambitious whirlwind of fun action-adventure. Releasing on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 14, fans can revisit this marvel of a superhero film along with many fantastic looking special features. Find out extras what you can expect to find after the break.

Making a big splash at the beginning of the summer – my reviewDays of Future Past was a triumphant return to form after the horrendous X-Men: The Last Stand. Matthew Vaughn did a great job reviving the franchise with First Class and James Mangold’s Wolverine completely cleansed our palettes from X-Men Origins: Wolverine. But it has always been Bryan Singer who has been able to capture the true essence of the X-Men; with X2: X-Men United being one of the best superhero movies to date. I’m sure many will be anxious to bring home Days of Future Past upon its release.

The X-Men: Days of Future Past Blu-ray special features includes:

  • Deleted Scenes with Optional Audio Commentary by Bryan Singer
  • Gag Reel
  • Kitchen Sequence
  • Classification: M
  • X-Men: Reunited
  • Double Take: Xavier & Magneto
  • Sentinels: For A Secure Future
  • Gallery: Trask Industries
  • Second Screen App
  • Theatrical Trailers

Starring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Ian McKellen, Nicholas Hoult, Peter Dinklage, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Halle Berry, and Evan Peters, here is official plot synopsis for Days of Future Past:

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past — to save our future.

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits shelves on 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, and DVD on October 14; it will be available for Digital HD download on September 23.
