James Bond 24 SPECTRE Movie Cast Revealed

Today at Pinewood Studios in the UK, details for the the 24th James Bond film have been revealed. Entitled SPECTRE, Bond 24 is set to release on November 6, 2015 and will have the world’s most notorious secret agent facing off against one of his most notorious criminal organizations of the series’ past. Also revealed in today’s announcement was the official car for SPECTRE, which you can see after the break.

Much speculation has been circling around this Bond announcement before it was even made. With Christoph Waltz (Inglorious Basterds; Django Unchained) outed earlier this week, many assumed the Oscar winner would be cast as none other than Blofeld, the head of SPECTRE (SPecial Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion). But those rumors die today. As seen in today’s announcement above, Waltz will be playing a character by the name of Franz Oberhauser.

Waltz will be of course joined by Daniel Craig (Skyfall; Casino Royale) returning as James Bond. Returning to Mi6 with Bond will be Ralph Fiennes (The Grand Budapest Hotel) as M; Naomie Harris (28 Days Later) as Eve Moneypenny; Ben Whishaw (Cloud Atlas)  as Q; and Rory Kinnear (The Imitation Game) as Tanner. Alongside the new addition of Waltz will be Andrew Scott (Sherlock) who plays Denbigh, a new member of MI6, and Dave Bautista (Guardians of the Galaxy) as Mr. Hinx. The new Bond ladies will be played by Monica Bellucci (Irreversible) as Lucia Sciarra and Léa Seydoux (Blue is the Warmest Color) as Madeleine Swann.

After Mendes revealed the full cast, Bond’s new wheels were unveiled. Created exclusively for SPECTRE, 007 will be riding in a new Aston Martin, the DB10.

Here is the official plot synopsis:

A cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.
