We’ve got another full week of home video release announcements to share with you Coming Soon to Blu-ray and DVD. While we provide you with a list of releases Now Available to Own every Tuesday, Coming Soon looks at all of the pre-order announcements. For the week of January 31, 2015, Whiplash, The Babadook, and more have been given release dates. Find out when they’ll be out and what special features they’ll have after the break.
Synopsis: Andrew Neiman is an ambitious young jazz drummer, single-minded in his pursuit to rise to the top of his elite east coast music conservatory. Plagued by the failed writing career of his father, Andrew hungers day and night to become one of the greats. Terence Fletcher, an instructor equally known for his teaching talents as for his terrifying methods, leads the top jazz ensemble in the school. When a disturbing storybook called ‘The Babadook’ turns up at their house, Samuel is convinced that the Babadook is the creature he’s been dreaming about.

Synopsis: Olympic Gold Medal-winning wrestler Mark Schultz is struggling in obscurity and poverty in Wisconsin when he is invited by wealthy heir John du Pont to move on to his lavish estate to form a team and to train for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Schultz seizes the opportunity, eager to step out of the shadow of his revered older brother Dave, a prominent wrestling coach and Gold Medal winner himself.
