We’ve got another full week of home video release announcements to share with you Coming Soon to Blu-ray and DVD. While we provide you with a list of releases Now Available to Own every Tuesday, Coming Soon looks at all of the pre-order announcements. For the week of January 31, 2015, Whiplash, The Babadook, and more have been given release dates. Find out when they’ll be out and what special features they’ll have after the break.

Synopsis: Andrew Neiman is an ambitious young jazz drummer, single-minded in his pursuit to rise to the top of his elite east coast music conservatory. Plagued by the failed writing career of his father, Andrew hungers day and night to become one of the greats. Terence Fletcher, an instructor equally known for his teaching talents as for his terrifying methods, leads the top jazz ensemble in the school. Fletcher discovers Andrew and transfers the aspiring drummer into his band, forever changing the young man’s life. (Watch the trailer)

Synopsis: Six years after the violent death of her husband, Amelia is at a loss. She struggles to discipline her ‘out of control’ 6 year-old, Samuel, a son she finds impossible to love. Samuel’s dreams are plagued by a monster he believes is coming to kill them both. When a disturbing storybook called ‘The Babadook’ turns up at their house, Samuel is convinced that the Babadook is the creature he’s been dreaming about.

Synopsis: Olympic Gold Medal-winning wrestler Mark Schultz is struggling in obscurity and poverty in Wisconsin when he is invited by wealthy heir John du Pont to move on to his lavish estate to form a team and to train for the 1988 Seoul Olympics. Schultz seizes the opportunity, eager to step out of the shadow of his revered older brother Dave, a prominent wrestling coach and Gold Medal winner himself.

Longmire Blu-Ray Box Cover Art

Synopsis: Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire is back in the saddle for a third thrilling season. After winning his heated re-election as Absaroka County sheriff vs. his ambitious deputy Branch Connally, Walt now faces a stampede of problems both personal and professional. Last season, Walt and his deputies each braved a storm and did it nobly. But for every storm, there is an aftermath.

Special Features:

  • “The Ghost in the Storm” featurette – the documentary will focus upon the density of material that is viewed through the simplest of human emotions regarding obsession. Once the ghosts are vanquished, where do the characters go from here? Have they truly survived trauma and picked up their proverbial “pieces”? Teen Titans Go DVD Box Cover Art

Synopsis: In Season 2 Part 1, the Teen Titans return with a whole new bevy of baddies, beverages and adventures! Partner up with Robin, Cyborg, Raven, Starfire and Beast Boy to defend Jump City against slimy monsters, tyrannical villains and of course, crime fighting induced hunger pains. Special features have not been listed but you can expect over four hours of bonus content.

Created by Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath, Teen Titans Go! stars the voices of Scott Menville, Hynden Walch, Khary Payton, Tara Strong, and Greg Cipes. This two-disc set will be available to own on DVD on April 15, 2015.

Looney Tunes Musical Masterpieces  DVD Box Cover Art
