ATTACK ON TITAN Season 2 Teaser Trailer is a Beast

If the holidays weren’t enough to get excited about, the first teaser for Season 2 of Attack on Titan has emerged. After a delay past the original November 2016 debut, fans should be excited to catch the first bits of action expected to come about in the sophomore season. Especially with the Beast Titan making a brief appearance.

Since this past summer’s Spring 2017 premiere announce, details have been scarce. The first season cast would be returning along with first season director, Tetsuro Araki, stepping up as chief director and episode director, Masashi Koizuka, will be taking over as director.

While plot is still being kept under wraps, luckily you have me who has read the manga to fill you in with what’s being shown in the teaser.

With the Female Titan on ice, Wall Rose has been breached and the Scout Regiment must investigate where their defenses have been broken. Easier said than done. As if titans breaking through wasn’t enough a new threat approaches, the Beast Titan, who appears to be nearly the size of the Colossal Titan except hairy. Also revealed in the new teaser we see a smaller titan fighting off basic titans in a castle. We’ll find out soon enough who this new titan-shifter is. And finally, we’ll catch the deathmatch we’ve all been waiting for when Eren transforms into his titan form to face off against an enemy who was responsible for the death of his mother, the Armored Titan.

Are you giddy with excitement?

Directed by Masashi Koizuka, Attack on Titan Season 2 stars Marina Inoue, Yui Ishikawa, Yuuki Kaji, Daisuke Ono, Hiro Shimono, Hiroshi Kamiya, Romi Park, Saki Fujita, Shiori Mikami, Takehito Koyasu, Tomohisa Hashizume, Yoshimasa Hosoya, and Yu Kobayashi.
