Young adult series adaptations have it rough in a world where we have Harry Potter and Twilight. The level of expectations range from super premium all the way down to toxic sludge. There is little in-between, with no saving grace for those who push out properties just because there’s a large fan base behind the books. And as much as it may have seemed like a good idea, Vampire Academy (written by Richelle Mead) is yet another throwaway YA franchise that fails gloriously in the wake of Beautiful Creatures, The Host, Percy Jackson, and The Immortal Instruments. Neato: The Lost Art of Inglourious Basterds

This is kind of old, maybe a month, but I figured it was still worth it to post because these are some pretty cool posters. These were for a benefit for Haiti in February that had Upper Playground and The Weinstein Company team together to throw this gig. A bunch of artists came together to create this interesting art pieces that were their interpretation of the film. All the proceeds went to the American Red Cross to help the victims of the Haiti earthquake. You can check out all the posters after the jump!
