As Comic-Con continues to grow, there’s been an outpour of exciting happenings all over downtown San Diego that allows fans of movies, gaming, and television to experience the convention without having a badge. This year is no different. Cartoon Network is looking to expand their fan-service even further with even more out-of-convention activities and fun. After the break, check out what panels you can enjoy, learn more about what’s outside the convention center, and get more details on the Ice King’s castle from Adventure Time.
When it comes to Comic-Con, booths are rarely your traditional three-walled curtain digs. This year Cartoon Network will bring fans an Adventure Time experience like no other. Their booth will be comprised of the Ice King’s iconic castle with an exclusive photo opportunity as well as the chance to gain five different Adventure Time buttons.
Across the street from the convention center, Cartoon Network has partnered with the New Children’s Museum for the second year in a row to offer a unique immersive experience. Inspired by the Emmy award-winning series Regular Show, The New Children’s Museum will be transformed into the Regular Show Regular Zone – a sensory feast complete with nostalgic 80’s arcade games, Regular Show inspired video games, and groovy neon lighting. The whole experience will be free of charge.
