These witches be crazy. The third in Ryan Murphy’s horror melodrama miniseries, American Horror Story: Coven, will be hitting shelves on Blu-ray and DVD just in time for Halloween. As we await our first glimpse of American Horror Story: Freak Show, check out all of the special features you can find on this home video collection after the break.
I have a love hate relationship Ryan Murphy projects. Nip/Tuck will always be up there as one of my all time favorite shows and Glee was great but has declined rapidly after the third season, but for as excited as I was for American Horror Story to begin, the end product was rather lackluster to me. However, there are many shining moments that do stand out that keeps me coming back.
When Coven first aired on TV, I watched the first two episodes and found myself too busy to care to continue. In my mind, AHS is not a great show to keep my attention week to week, but I could binge through these rather quickly with this Blu-ray. Which is perfect because Freakshow premieres the day after its release. For true fans, there are sadly not a lot of extra goodies to digest in case you were hoping for a more in-depth look into the coven.
American Horror Story: Coven Blu-ray special features includes:
