‘Alien’ the 35th Anniversary Edition Bursts onto Blu-ray October 7

In an age of computer generated images, some films these days can hardly withstand the test of time. But there are movies like Alien that can hold up for generations. 20th Century Fox is releasing a special 35th Anniversary Edition of the classic sci-fi horror with a slew of special features. Learn what you can expect to find on this special Blu-ray after the jump.

Although I can say I am younger than this film, Alien holds a special place in my heart. Like an older brother, Alien introduced me to true horror. It was one of the first films that I grew up with and has greatly impacted the way I look at the genre. Special features are what keep me buying into physical media, and this 35th Anniversary Edition is quite stacked

Here is official plot synopsis for Alien courtesy of 20th Century Fox:
