Just Dance 2015 (Available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Wii, Wii U on October 21) Just Dance 2015 is the latest, most awesome-filled version of the world’s #1 dance game! Bringing new moves and game modes to over 40 top tracks, Just Dance 2015 features hit songs like “Happy” by Pharrell Williams, “Burn”” by Ellie Goulding, and legendary favorites like “Walk This Way” by Run DMC & Aerosmith, with more tracks to be announced very soon. There are a million reasons to play and a million stories to be created with Just Dance 2015!

I’ve never actually played this game, but it looks like it would be a lot of fun and the only reason to buy an XBox Kinect. New features included are:

  • Never dance alone! In the new Challenger mode, you can dance against friends and family and top-ranked Just Dance players from around the world.
  • Online multiplayer is back!
  • Share your coolest dance moments! The upgraded Autodance feature records players while they’re dancing to create short, funny, shareable videos.
  • Just Dance favorites are back! Get in a workout by using Sweat mode to track the calories you’re burning while dancing, or choose to own the spotlight in On Stage mode, where one player can dance and lead one or two backup dancers!

The Legend of Korra (Available for PS4, PSN, and Windows on October 21; Xbox One, XBLA on October 22) An ancient evil force has emerged from the portals and threatens the balance of both worlds! Only the Avatar stands a chance in defeating this new threat!

I really need to watch this show. Features of this game included are:

  • Original Avatar storyline penned by the TV show’s creators.
  • Wield the power of all 4 elements – water, earth, fire, and air as only the Avatar can!
  • Change bending styles at any time to unleash devastating combos.
  • Beat overwhelming odds by activating the all-powerful Avatar state.

Pokémon Art Academy (Available for 3DS on October 24) In Pokémon Art Academy, players take on the role of a young aspiring artist who enrolls in the Pokémon Art Academy to learn how to draw Pokémon under the tutelage of Professor Andy. Through ever-evolving lessons, players are taught the basics of art, from simple shapes and coloring to more complex methods like shading and blending. Along the way they are introduced to various tools they will use to create their art.

This game seems like the perfect way to spark creativity in kids who are glued to their handheld devices. Features included are:

  • Players can learn to draw many of their favorite Pokémon from all known regions.
  • Bring Pokémon artwork to life using a variety of tools.
  • Create amazing pictures with step-by-step lessons.
  • Once drawings are complete, artists can share their Pokémon art using Miiverse and local wireless.
  • Post directly to Miiverse to show off their artwork.
  • Save art to an SD Card and print it out.
  • The game is fun and easy for all ages and skill levels.

Bayonetta 2 (Available for Wii U on October 24th) The Witch is Back! The witching hour strikes again. Brimming with intricate battles that take place in, on and all over epic set pieces, Bayonetta 2 finds our sassy heroine battling angels and demons in unearthly beautiful HD. You’re bound to love how it feels to string together combos with unimaginable weapons and to summon demons using Bayonetta’s Umbran Weave in this frantic stylized action game. Bayonetta 2 is a Wii U exclusive. Bayonetta comes packed in with the purchase of every retail packaged version of Bayonetta 2.

Can’t say the first game ever interested me, but it will be a testament to the Wii U’s draw if this game proves to be successful. Features included are:

  • Initiate the new Umbran Climax technique to temporarily summon demons and boost Bayonetta’s attack range whenever you fill her magic gauge.
  • Fight with new over-the-top weapons that open new possibilities to the way you battle, including the Kafka, a bow that shoots poisonous arrows; the Rakshasa, a pair of beautiful katana blades; and a giant rifle-inspired scythe known as the Chernobog.
  • Team up with a friend in Tag Climax, a two-player online co-op mode.
  • In online quick matches, you can wager halos, the in-game currency that you earn by defeating enemies.
  • Every chapter ends with a medal ranking: Stone, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Pure Platinum.
  • This game is approachable for players of all levels, with settings of three difficulty levels. Through Touch Play, you can play with the GamePad’s stylus and touch screen, regardless of which difficulty you choose.
