For the week of January 3, 2015, Big Hero 6, Starry Eyes, Beyond the Lights, and more will soon be in your reach. Find out their release dates and special features after the break.

Synopsis: With all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Big Hero 6” is an action-packed comedy adventure that introduces Baymax, a lovable, personal companion robot, who forms a special bond with robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada. Miller, Maya Rudolph, James Cromwell, Alan Tudyk, and Daniel Henney. This release will be available on Digital HD/ Disney Movies Anywhere February 3 and Blu-ray Combo Pack on February 24, 2015.

Beyond the Lights Blu-Ray Box Cover Art

Synopsis: Beyond the Lights is the story of Noni, the music world’s latest superstar. But not all is what it seems, and the pressures of fame have Noni on the edge – until she meets Kaz Nicol, a young cop and aspiring politician who’s been assigned to her detail. Drawn to each other, Noni and Kaz fall fast and hard, despite the protests of those around them who urge them to put their career ambitions ahead of their romance. But it is ultimately Kaz’s love that gives Noni the courage to find her own voice and break free to become the artist she was meant to be.

Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, Beyond the Lights stars Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Nate Parker, Danny Glover, Minnie Driver, and Machine Gun Kelly. The release will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on February 24, 2015.

St. Vincent Blu-Ray Box Cover Art

Synopsis: Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy star in this comedy drama written and directed by Theodore Melfi. Murray plays Vincent, a misanthropic and curmudgeonly old man who becomes responsible for his neighbour Maggie (McCarthy)’s son Oliver (Jaeden Lieberher). Maggie, who has enough on her mind with starting her new job at the hospital while going through divorce proceedings from Oliver’s father, employs Vincent to take care of Oliver after school. Unbeknown to Maggie, Vincent is a heavy drinker and smoker and likes to hang around bars and racetracks in his spare time. But is there more to Vincent than meets the eye?

Directed by Theodore Melfi, St. Vincent stars Bill Murray, Melissa McCarthy, Naomi Watts, Chris O’Dowd, and Terrence Howard. The release will be available on Blu-ray and DVD on March 13, 2015.

Synopsis: Determined to make it as an actress in Hollywood, Sarah Walker (Essoe) spends her days working a dead-end job, enduring petty friendships with other struggling artists and competing actors, and going on countless casting calls in hopes of catching her big break. After a series of strange auditions, Sarah lands the leading role in a film from a mysterious production company. But this opportunity comes with some bizarre conditions that will transform her both mentally and physically into something beautiful… and altogether terrifying.

Synopsis: They were five students with nothing in common, faced with spending a Saturday detention together in their high school library. At 7 a.m., they had nothing to say, but by 4 p.m. they had bared their souls to each other and become good friends. John Hughes creator of the critically acclaimed Sixteen Candles, wrote, directed and produced this hilarious and often touching comedy starring Emilio Estevez, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Molly Ringwald and Ally Sheedy. To the outside world they were simply the Jock, the Brain, the Criminal, the Princess and the Kook, but to each other, they would always be The Breakfast Club.
