With his involvement in the 2014 blockbuster Guardians of the Galaxy and the highly anticipated Jurassic World, Chris Pratt seems to be the hottest leading man in Hollywood right now. People can’t get enough of this loveable goofball. There have even been rumors buzzing around Hollywood of him being involved in other high profile roles such as the new Indiana Jones and Knight Rider. Hit the jump for the truth behind these rumors.

Now that Parks and Recreation has reached its bittersweet conclusion, Chris Pratt’s schedule has certainly freed up. So much in fact that he’s had to clear up these false claims of his connection to upcoming big name properties in the works. For instance, it was believed that Pratt would be starring alongside Channing Tatum in a Ghostbusters spinoff. However, Pratt put these rumors to rest in a recent interview with GQ Magazine:

“No one has ever even spoken to me about that. Never. I’ve even seen Channing a couple times. As far as I know, that’s complete bullshit.”

The same seems to be true of the Knight Rider rumors as Pratt also calls it, “bullshit.” What of the Indiana Jones rumors, then? Pratt also gave some insight on this according to the interview:

“The truth, as far as he is concerned, is that someone high up at Disney did mention to him a while back that they were picking up the rights to Indiana Jones, to which Pratt commented that his action-adventure card was fairly full.”

But Chris Pratt fans shouldn’t be too disappointed. They still have more Guardians of the Galaxy movies to look forward to as the actor mentions he’s up for even more appearances outside the GotG films:

“I’m tied to doing three more, or five more, Guardians of the Galaxy or whatever it is, you know, two more Guardians plus another couple.”

This most likely means that Pratt will reprise his role as Star Lord in other Marvel property films such as Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and 2 or maybe even Inhumans. As we all know, casting decisions are always subject to change. Either way, we should still be seeing a lot of Chris Pratt in the coming years. Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
