Walt Disney  Pictures has released the first of three new theatrical banners for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Want to see more? Disney is asking fans to join The Disloyal Subjects of the Mad Hatter on Facebook (www.facebook.com/MadHatterSubjects) to “help prepare his army!” Apparently The Mad Hatter is giving his army the first look at exclusive images, but “you have to follow his orders to receive them.”

Official Plot Synopsis: From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure ALICE IN WONDERLAND, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. JOHNNY DEPP stars as the Mad Hatter and MIA WASIKOWSKA as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen’s reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes ANNE HATHAWAY, HELENA BONHAM CARTER and CRISPIN GLOVER. The screenplay is by Linda Woolverton. Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll’s beloved “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” (1865) and “Through the Looking-Glass” (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, ALICE IN WONDERLAND comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™ on March 5, 2010.

It has come! Either you have to join the Mad Hatter’s Army on Facebook, just click on this link here, or check out the video below to view the new Alice In Wonderland Teaser Trailer in high definition. The cinematography looks great and the imagery is beautiful. What more could you ask for in a Burton film other than possibly less Depp? I find him a little overrated for roles like this these days, but lets hope he doesn’t play a vital role in the film; it is titled Alice In Wonderland, not Mad Hatter in Wonderland. Either way, we’ll see how it goes on March 5th, 2010.

The plot : “Written by Linda Woolverton, who also co-wrote The Lion King, and had a part in Beauty and the Beast, Mulan, and the Teen Wolf cartoon, the script isn’t exactly an adaptation of the original story by Lewis Carroll, as it is an extension of it. Alice went to Wonderland as a child, and she’s now almost grown. She’s 17, and she’s back for more, but doesn’t remember her times there earlier. She’s about to be engaged, maybe. A rich suitor wants to marry her, and the opening scenes of the movie are of her engagement party. But she, of course, gets distracted by a white rabbit.”

Early Leak: Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland Teaser Trailer

I have seen the teaser and I know its going to get shut down soon before tomorrow so I took the liberty of taking some stills. It looks interesting, a lot more kiddy than I thought, but still looks good. It seems that the Mad Hatter is a intricate role in the movie and of course the story seems to revolve around Depps character, or maybe its just the trailer. The trailer shows all the main characters: Red Queen, Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, White Queen, Tweedle Dee, Tweedle Dum, and the Cheshire Cat. This film comes out March 5th, 2010. The Official teaser trailer should be out tomorrow according to whoever wins the Facebook war.

(UPDATE: ALL VIDEOS OF THE TRAILER ARE DOWN THANKS TO DISNEY OR WHOEVER, You can say thanks for the trailer stills though because I knew they would all get taken down)

A new marketing campaign during Comic Con has been issued for the new Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Be the first to see the new teaser trailer for this film by becoming a fan of the characters on Facebook……

The Loyal Subjects of the Red Queen, the Loyal Subjects of the White Queen, and the Disloyal Subjects of the Mad Hatter are all building armies on Facebook. The fan page with the biggest army at 4PM PDT on Friday, July 24 will get to see an exclusive new trailer from Disney’s ALICE IN WONDERLAND before anyone else. Disney Is Full Of Nerds

Alice In Wonderland Character Pictures

Wooo more Alice in Wonderland character photos have been released by Planeta Disney. Shown are Alice (Mia Wasikowska), the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) and The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter).

This story is more of a sequel and follows Alice, 17 years old, as she escapes from rich snob party and follows the white rabbit down the rabbit hole, back to Wonderland. The White Rabbit is convinced that he has the right girl, the one who had visited the magical land ten years prior.  Alice doesn’t remember her past visit to Wonderland. The creatures of Wonderland are ready to revolt and are hoping Alice can help them.
