Due to positive word of mouth, Pitch Perfect released in select theaters early this past weekend. To help promote the film, the cast recently shot a performance cover of “Starships” by Nicki Minaj with vocal assistance by Mike Tompkins, a singer songwriter who does some pretty impressive a capella work. This is just a friendly reminder that due to an overwhelming hype, Pitch Perfect will be releasing early in select theaters September 28. Today, Universal Pictures revealed the teaser trailer for Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. This movie has been told to be amazingly epically awesomely cool and will cause nerdgasms, but I never thought it would be this freakin’ ridiculously cool! Scott Pilgrim vs. The World looks so cool and with the writer/director of Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead, Edgar Wright, at the helm, you can guarantee this movie will be highly entertaining.
