Moving to San Diego has its advantages. Writing for Game Rant, I have recently obtained the coveted title of “PRESS” in the media world. Never have I ever thought I would be able to go to such a prestigious industry event like E3. I’ve always watched coverage of the awesomeness that is E3 on G4TV, but now I will be able to cover it myself!
Hopefully I will be able to fill you in on all of the fun and excitement that is E3 2012 in the near future. For now, I am getting so many invites and press releases, I just don’t even know what to do with myself. Stay tuned for more information!
I’m really looking forward to seeing what the new Tomb Raider is all about and how the mechanics of the gameplay will work. I’ve always found the franchise interesting, but never to the point that I could root for the character. I love the new gritty look of Lara Croft and look forward to what is in-store for the franchise.
Another property I hope to see is South Park: The Stick of Truth. Matt Stone and Trey Parker have run the gambit on almost every corner of the entertainment industry, and now they are returning to the video game world. I hope that they are able to put their minds together to reach deep into over 15 seasons of South Park lore to create something magical.
Of course there are the obvious titles everyone is looking forward to, such as Halo 4 and Assassin’s Creed 3, but there are other titles that are on my mind that include Hitman: Absolution, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, and especially Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.
The big question is, what will Nintendo reveal about the new Wii U? I am really anxious to see how it plays – if I’m even allowed to play it.
Those questions and more will be found out in just a few months! Squee!
