This year was my first time ever attending such a coveted event like the Electronic Entertainment Expo – or E3 as some may call it. Having the chance to go was a life experience I will never forget, and I am forever thankful to those allowing me the opportunity to go. As the dust settled and the craziness died down, many questioned whether attendees would be heading back to the LA Convention Center for E3 in 2013. Continue reading →
Now that I’ve had time to recover after an exhausting field trip to the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo, I wanted to put in my two-cents about Nintendo’s Wii U. The revered gaming conglomerate has always been known to revolutionize the industry, but has the industry reached a peak? Could the Nintendo Wii U just be a fancy gimmick? Continue reading →
Hello friends! survived E3 2012 and managed to get my paws on some really interesting games releasing soon. Although I did not get to see everything – mostly because the place was a zoo – I was able to check out the new Tomb Raider by Crystal Dynamics. Continue reading →
We are mere days away from E3 2012 and my excitement can hardly be contained. For starters, it is my first time going to a big wig convention, and also this bold new trailer for Tomb Raiderhas just been brought to my attention. Never have I ever thought I would be able to go to such a prestigious industry event like E3. I’ve always watched coverage of the awesomeness that is E3 on G4TV, but now I will be able to cover it myself! Continue reading →
When it comes down to it, Nintendo always has the most innovate ways to spice up the videogame world incorporating a non-traditional gameplay to each of their systems. The DS brought dual screens to handheld gaming, the Wii brought motion control, the 3DS incorporates glassesless 3D imaging, and now the Wii-U brings a whole new way to play with the controller. After the jump check out all the big news from the Nintendo press conference from E3 2011.
Videogaming has always come second nature to me whether it involved sports, FPSs, RPGs, action, and all the rest. I have always been fond of the videogaming industry and this year I was able to catch all of the major announcements from Microsoft, Ubisoft, EA, and Sony today thanks to the lovely people at G4. Many big surprises and some disappointments. Mostly, I’ve found this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo is somewhat average, thus far. I don’t own a Playstation 3 or an XBOX 360, but a lot of games they showed today really made me want to buy them, but nothing huge has struck my fancy. Read on and see what I thought of today’s events.
