Indiana Comic-Con 2014 Cosplay Photo Gallery

For the first Indiana Comic-Con, cosplayers came out in full droves to represent their favorite movie, television, video game, and comic book characters. Hosted by Action3 Events and Promotions, the inaugural con brought out some of Indiana’s most creative. From Batman to Solid Snake, almost every geek property was represented the the highest degree. Check out our full cosplay gallery after the jump.

Among all of the cosplayers, the main source of inspiration leaned toward Marvel adapted superheroes, such as Iron Man and Captain America; most of which were children in pre-created halloween costumes. But nonetheless, there were also a number of very well done Batman and Bane costumes represented from the DC fan base. If I had to pick a favorite, it would have to be the Juggernaut costume you can see below in the gallery.

Whether it is San Diego Comic-Con, C2E2 Chicago, or New York Comic-Con, people from all over the Midwest brought a solid level of quality cosplay. Of course you will find more at the bigger cons, but as Indiana’s first Comic-Con I would say a good group of fans turned out in costumes. As the attendance proved to be more than what they could have imagine, I could only believe next year’s ICC will be just as or even more successful.

While Indiana Comic-Con was taking place, badges went on sale for San Diego Comic-Con and were sold out within an hour. Another record breaking attendance is expected.

WonderCon in Anaheim is gearing up for the weekend of April 18-20. You can check out last year’s WonderCon cosplay gallery if you are attending and looking for some great cosplay ideas.
