The comedy. The colors. The action. GIVE ME BIG HERO 6 NOW. This trailer works very well as an introduction to the big picture. As the 54th animated feature from Walt Disney Animation Studios, it is the first property adapted from the Marvel camp. The crossover between Disney animation and Marvel stories just feels so right. It’s the perfect combination that will most likely charm the pants off kids and adults alike.
As good as this trailer is, I wish we had gotten a better taste of the rest of the Big Hero 6 aside from Baymax and Hiro. At the beginning we spend a large portion of the trailer with the two laying down the situation. Although very amusing, it eats away at a lot of the time we could be spending with the rest of the team. I would guess that a second trailer will focus more on building the team to take down the big bad Yokai than setting up the story. if you’d like to learn more about the rest of the characters, you can check out the full character descriptions and posters that were released yesterday.

The plot synopsis for Big Hero 6 below comes courtesy of Walt Disney Animation Studios:
Big Hero 6 is an action-packed comedy-adventure about robotics prodigy Hiro Hamada, who learns to harness his genius—thanks to his brilliant brother Tadashi and their like-minded friends: adrenaline junkie GoGo Tamago, neatnik Wasabi, chemistry whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred. When a devastating turn of events catapults them into the midst of a dangerous plot unfolding in the streets of San Fransokyo, Hiro turns to his closest companion—a robot named Baymax—and transforms the group into a band of high-tech heroes determined to solve the mystery.
Inspired by the Marvel comics of the same name, and featuring comic-book style action and all the heart and humor audiences expect from Walt Disney Animation Studios, Big Hero 6 is directed by Don Hall (Winnie the Pooh) and Chris Williams (Bolt), and produced by Roy Conli (Tangled).
Starring the voices of Ryan Potter, Scott Adsit, TJ Miller, Alan Tudyk, Genesis Rodriguez, Jamie Chung, Damon Wayons Jr., Daniel Henney, James Cromswell, Maya Rudolph, and Chris Williams, Big Hero 6 hits theaters in 2D and 3D on November 7, 2014.
