Now I have only seen Gone with the Wind once, but it’s one of those epics that you must see once in your lifetime. I am not the biggest fan of Interview with the Vampire, honestly I completely forgot of its existence until I saw it on the list of releases. However, with so many eye rolling vampire flicks and TV shows these days, it would be good for the youths of the world to see a vampire film with depth and solid performances. Super Smash Bros. 3DS

Video Games

Super Smash Bros. (Available for 3DS on October 3) Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS is the first portable entry in the renowned series, in which game worlds collide. Up to four players battle each other locally or online using some of Nintendo’s most well-known and iconic characters across beautifully designed stages inspired by classic portable Nintendo games. It’s a genuine, massive Super Sma sh Bros. experience that’s available to play on the go, anytime, anywhere.

Do I really need to explain why you should buy this game? Nope. Not one bit.

  • Smash and crash through “Smash Run” mode, a new mode exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS version that gives up to four players five minutes to fight solo through a huge battlefield while taking down recognizable enemies from almost every major Nintendo franchise and multiple third-party partners. Defeated enemies leave behind power-ups to collect. Players who collect more power-ups have an advantage once time runs out and the battle with opponents begins.
  • Compete with classic characters from the Super Smash Bros. series like Mario, Link, Samus and Pikachu, along with new challengers like Mega Man, Little Mac and newly announced Palutena, the Goddess of Light from the Kid Icarus games. For the first time players can even compete as their own Mii characters.
  • Customize different aspects of your character when playing locally or online with friends in a variety of multiplayer modes.
  • View most elements of the high-energy action at silky-smooth 60 frames per second and in eye-popping stereoscopic 3D.
  • Fight against friends and family locally or online, or battle random challengers all over the world online in “For Fun” or “For Glory” modes.

Forza Horizon 2 (Available for Xbox 360 and Xbox One) Race through a massive wide-open world featuring dramatic weather and day-tonight cycles. Instantly connect with friends in the ultimate celebration of speed, style, and action-packed driving. Explore beautiful and exotic locations in more than 200 of the world’s greatest cars, all created with precise detail in stunning 1080p.

If racing games are your kinda bag…

  • Explore a Massive, Living Open World – A world of beauty and freedom awaits.
  • Action-Packed Driving – Take risks and earn rewards for showing off your driving skills and style.
  • Instantly Connect with Friends – Only on Xbox One – Jump between solo and online play instantly. No lobbies, no waiting.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor (Available for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One) You are Talion, a Ranger of the Black Gate, keeping watch over Mordor which has remained undisturbed for ages. In the blink of an eye, everything is taken from you – your friends, your family, and even your own life. Resurrected by a vengeful spirit, you must now embark on a relentless vendetta against those who have wronged you. Fight through Mordor and uncover the truth of the spirit that compels you, discover the origins of the Rings of Power, build your legend and ultimately confront the evil of Sauron in this new chronicle in Middle-earth.

This sounds like an insane concept. From what I’ve seen in the gameplay, the graphics are just stunning. It looks similar to Assassin’s Game in many ways with it’s game mechanics and story development structure. It would be a great, mindless playthrough for gamers looking for a fun, action adventure game. Features included are:

  • Unleash the Power of the Wraith – Harness the Spirit of vengeance to inflict brutal combos while mastering powerful new skills and weaponry.
  • Bend Mordor to Your Will – Exploit the individual fears, weaknesses, and memories of your enemies as you dismantle Sauron’s forces from within.
  • An Epic Tale of Revenge and Redemption – Become the most feared force in Mordor in a new chronicle set before the events of The Lord of the Rings.
