Lionsgate has released the final trailer for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, and Katniss has a message for President Snow. It’s a pretty adrenaline fueled trailer that raises the heightened nature of the series. With about three weeks to go , this trailer will surely have fans anxious for its release on November 21. You’ll find the final trailer to watch, along with a handful of screenshots, after the break.
The speech that Katniss gives is quite powerful. Fans who have read the books obviously know the context, and Jennifer Lawrence’s delivery is solid. Aside from her threat to Snow (Donald Sutherland, everything else shown in this final trailer are a lot of bits and pieces we’ve seen before in previous trailers.
Like its predecessors, the first half of Mockingjay is not as action packed. Seeing how they opted to split the book in half, it will be interesting to see what techniques Francis Lawrence uses to make Part 1 more interesting than the text. From the trailer here, it looks like they are pushing most of the action sequences to draw more excitement rather than intrigue by its political motivations.
