E3: Thanos Joins the Fight Against Ultron Sigma in New MARVEL VS CAPCOM: INFINITE Cinematic Trailer

Since Ultron Sigma was introduced in the previous story trailer for Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite, it would appear our heroes would be up against an impossible task to take down such a mega villain. So why not team up with a super villain to fight against a super villain? And so with the help of The Mad Titan, Thanos, the roster of fighters continues to grow with some amazing fighters.

Thanos was last seen in 2000’s Marvel vs Capcom 2 as a playable character, and now with his looming presence in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, his influence is taking on new life back into the gaming world. Also, since the MCU is ramping up to Avengers: Infinity War, the presence of the Infinity Stones will make their way into the game enhancing fighters with unique abilities based on the power of each gem.

Not only has this trailer confirmed the inclusion of Thanos, but so have a few additional characters such as Gamora, Nova, Doctor Strange, Dante, Zero, Spencer, and Arthur. Gamora is new to the MvC franchise, but all of the others made their debut in Marvel vs Capcom 3. Additionally, Black Panther has also been confirmed at the end of the trailer who will be available in the Deluxe Edition.
