Youth In Revolt, Trailer #2

The second trailer for Youth In Revolt, the new Michael Cera meets Fight Club flick, has been released today. This movie looks great. With Cera finally straying away with something other than his normal typecasted roles, this film looks like a turn to Cera’s career to hopefully better things than Year One.

While his trailer trash parents teeter on the edge of divorce, 14-year-old Nick sets his sights on dream girl Sheeni Saunders, hoping that she’ll be the one to take away his virginity.

Trailer for Family Guys’ Star Wars: Something Something Something Dark Side

The second edition of the Family Guy Star Wars saga has come upon us. The trailer has released today and it appears to be just as up to par as ‘Blue Harvest.’ Great Star Wars references mixed with classic Family Guy comedy come together to bring you entertainment.

Synopsis: The saga continues as Luke (Chris), Leia (Lois), Han Solo (Peter) and Chewbacca (Brian) have evaded the dreaded Imperial Starfleet led by the cunning, conniving and curiously short evil lord Darth Vader (Stewie), setting up a new secret base on the remote ice world of Hoth. With the rebellion in trouble, young Skywalker must take the advice of his late, and rather lascivious, mentor Obi-Wan Kenobi (Herbert) and learn the ways of the “farce” under Jedi Master Yoda (Carl) to save the galaxy once and for all.

Only 2 of the top 30 highest grossing films of this decade are original, did ya know that? Slash Film has compiled the list of the top grossing films and figured that most are not original stories. Most are based on a past film or tv show (remake/sequel), or an adaptation of an established property (be it a comic, book, play, toy…etc).

Find out more and the list after the jump!

Adam Sandler’s ‘Grown Ups’

zz7285e58f

Adam Sandler’s new film, Grown Ups, has released its teaser trailer to the public today. With a great cast of comedians this looks like it could be a lot of fun. With Chris Rock, Kevin James, David Spade, Rob Schneider and Sandler, there has to be some comedy genius right? This should be pretty decent, but may struggle in some aspects. Date Night Teaser Trailer

Picture 3

The new romantic action comedy starring Steve Carrell and Tina Fey, Date Night, has finally revealed their teaser trailer. It looks meh to me and looks a little corny and extreme. I think the writer’s are hoping the actors are going to save this film from a catastrophe. oh well.
