Final Alice in Wonderland Tri Poster

The final poster for the tri-theatrical banner posters for Tim Burton’s Alice In Wonderland have been surfaced and here it is.

Of course, these images already leaked and were posted on /Film over the weekend, found in a scan of an AMC Theaters promotional magazine. Here is the original AMC scan we posted last week, so you can see how the three pieces fit together:

Alice In Wonderland Poster Number 2!

After premiering the first on Monday, Walt Disney Pictures has now released the second of three new theatrical banners for Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Want to see more? Disney is asking fans to join The Disloyal Subjects of the Mad Hatter on Facebook (www.facebook.com/MadHatterSubjects) to “help prepare his army!” Apparently The Mad Hatter is giving his army the first look at exclusive images, but “you have to follow his orders to receive them.” Of course, these images already leaked and were posted on /Film over the weekend, found in a scan of an AMC Theaters promotional magazine. Official Plot Synopsis: From Walt Disney Pictures and visionary director Tim Burton comes an epic 3D fantasy adventure ALICE IN WONDERLAND, a magical and imaginative twist on some of the most beloved stories of all time. JOHNNY DEPP stars as the Mad Hatter and MIA WASIKOWSKA as 19-year-old Alice, who returns to the whimsical world she first encountered as a young girl, reuniting with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter. Alice embarks on a fantastical journey to find her true destiny and end the Red Queen’s reign of terror. The all-star cast also includes ANNE HATHAWAY, HELENA BONHAM CARTER and CRISPIN GLOVER. The screenplay is by Linda Woolverton. Capturing the wonder of Lewis Carroll’s beloved “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” (1865) and “Through the Looking-Glass” (1871) with stunning, avant-garde visuals and the most charismatic characters in literary history, ALICE IN WONDERLAND comes to the big screen in Disney Digital 3D™ on March 5, 2010.

Jason Segal and Muppets Join Forces

Another long-standing series of sorts got a big push today as The Cheapest Muppet Movie Ever Made! was also unveiled through a song and dance number by a whole slew of Muppets on stage. The film is indeed being written by Jason Segel (as we first found out about over a year ago) and it seems like the idea for this flick comes from another that was in development by Jim Henson himself back in 1985.  The idea had Gonzo directing a Hollywood movie and very quickly running out of money to make it, and it seems this same story will be at the heart of Segel’s Muppet movie. Though some of the more recent Muppet fare has been lackluster (Muppets from Space anybody?) I love these fuzzy puppets, and with Jason Segel writing, I don’t think this can go wrong.

TRON Legacy SDCC ’09 Footage in Hi-Def

The Tron Legacy concept footage shown at the San Diego Comic Con has now been added to Flynn Lives and can be viewed RIGHT HERE . You can view it below while it’s still on YouTube until taken down most likely, but the site is reliable. On the site is Hi-Def.

Tron Legacy is a 3D high-tech adventure set in a digital world that’s unlike anything ever captured on the big screen. Sam Flynn (Hedlund), the tech-savvy 27-year-old son of Kevin Flynn (Bridges), looks into his father’s disappearance and finds himself pulled into the same world of fierce programs and gladiatorial games where his father has been living for 25 years. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidant (Olivia Wilde), father and son embark on a life-and-death journey across a visually-stunning cyber universe that has become far more advanced and exceedingly dangerous.

Crappy Tron: Legacy Footage from SDCC

Check this out before it gets torn down from the Interweb. This was shown during San Diego Comic Con ’09. It shows some good action bike scene from the new Tron Sequel, possibly called Tron Legacy. This scene also includes Jeff Bridges from what I can tell.

Flynn’s Arcade – TRON 2 Viral Marketing Begins

Picture 2

So if you went to Comic Con you might have gotten some Flynn’s Arcade tokens. This is just the first step to the viral marketin campaign that is Tron 2. Wellllll this series of events have led people to FlynnLives.com and HomeOfTron.com. If you click on the bouncing spider on the bottom of FL you’ll get a countdown to something unknown obviously. There is also a message that read:

“Meet us at the cul de sac near the corner
of 1st and J when the numbers run out.
You’ll know who we are.”

If my math is correct tomorrow at 11:30 PM you should go to that cul de sac on 1st and J wherever that is and meet some people. Could this be another Dark Knight like campaign? Could be? I love viral marketing thought, but not too sure if I am excited for this movie………

TRON 2, the Plot Thickens

tron guy-thumb

Thanks to Disney, they have revealed a somewhat of a plot synopsis of what TRON will be about when it is remade into whatever it will be. Maybe TRON guy will get a special guest cameo. We could only hope…..
