Transformers 3 Leaked Film Script, I Think Not

According to Allspark.com, they have given us a nice “screenplay” for Ehren Kruger’s Transformers 3. We all know this is fake but its interesting to read. So read up and maybe some of it will be added to the real movie? Who knows, I saw a few beloved favorite Autobot and Decepticon names in there such as Onslaught, Silverbolt, Perceptor, and Wheeljack. Check out the link above and read up.

Mr. Bay You Fool Us Again!

MICHAEL BAY BOOM DEVIL

So Mr. Bay, you’re telling me Transformers 3 will be out July 1st 2011? And that Ehren Kruger is the only confirmed writer? Well sir I turn my cheek to you and bid you fairwell……

Mr. Bay’s post on his website:

Transformers 3: July 1st, 2011

Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.

Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.

P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.

Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.

Outlander…We Have Your Remake!

malachi

This Chidlren of the Corn remake might just have no hope. With Ehren Kruger at the helm, one of the writers responsible for the monstrosity that was Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, we might see one of the first disappointing horror remakes to date. I myself feel a lot of remakes for horror have actually been pretty good, but I don’t know how I feel about Kruger. According to Variety, this opportunity was swept up by the Weinstein group and needed to be done.

“We felt the [original] film was a missed opportunity,” said Bob Weinstein. “If you read the short story, it’s got such a strong feeling to it and there’s this religious overtone to it as well. Ehren wants to hit it hard. It’s popular in Hollywood to say you [are] re-envisioning a project, but a lot of the time they’re just carbon copying the original. We are bringing something new to the story.”

My final verdict, Kruger can’t do horror right (The Brothers Grimm, The Skeleton Key, The Ring 1 & 2, and Scream 3), especially with trying to reproduce a classic that could be a great story. This is a story of gingers, and this won’t be scary? How could a story about ginger kids not be scary? Damn you Kruger!
