One of my dreams has always been to be a part of a big budget motion picture as an extra. There has been one instance where I have “tried out” for a part in Transformers: Dark of the Moon and did not receive a call back. My friend, who wouldn’t have gone to the casting call unless I went, actually got casted as an extra and I am still, to this day, a bit peeved about it. C’est la vie.
But Mr. Jesse Heiman has discovered the secret to being cast as an extra and can be found in more big blockbusters than you would believe. From Old School and Van Wilder all the way to Spider-Man and Glee, Heiman has done it all with over 50 credits under his belt on his IMDb. He may be typecasted as a stereotypical nerd, but what really fascinates me is that he is in fact 32-years old while mostly being cast for roles half his age.
