Everything is going to be awesome on June 17 when The LEGO Movie hits stores on Blu-ray and DVD; also available on Digital HD. As one of the most celebrated films of the year, and quite possibly the funniest, The LEGO Movie is hands down one of the most anticipated home video releases of the year. Check out all of the awesome special features after the break.

It goes without saying that I absolutely adored The LEGO Movie. It was witty, hilarious, and very resonating for both kids and adults. There is so much rewatchability in The LEGO Movie that owning it on Blu-ray with its perfect animation will be quite rewarding. I know I’m sure I missed a few things here and there, and look forward to the chance where I can catch all of the fine details that are littered throughout this brilliant film. Phil Lord and Chris Miller can do no wrong.

Here’s the plot synopsis of The LEGO Movie, courtesy of Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, in case you missed it in theaters:

The original 3D computer-animated story follows Emmet, an ordinary, rules-following, perfectly average LEGO minifigure who is mistakenly identified as The Special, the most extraordinary person and the key to saving the world.  He is drafted into a fellowship of strangers on an epic quest to stop an evil tyrant, a journey for which Emmet is hopelessly and hilariously underprepared.
