Movie Review: ‘A Million Ways to Die in the West’ Delivers Bland MacFarlane Comedy
In a post Ted and 2013 Oscars world, there is not much left for Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane to mock and satire. Mining for laughs in his latest movie A Million Ways to Die in the West, which he wrote, directed, and starred in, the funny man unfortunately fails to deliver on that charm we all love. After seeing a teddy bear use produce as a strap-on dildo, A Million Ways to Die in the West is the Mr. Rogers of Seth MacFarlane comedy. Continue reading

Retro Review: Batman Begins
There is a movie that has come out this weekend, it’s kind of small, you may have heard of it before: The Dark Knight Rises. As most film junkies do, I am chronologically revisiting previous films in this trilogy so that the newest film can be watched in sequence. Thus we begin with Batman Begins. It may not have been the fuel to put The Dark Knight Rises on the radar for everyone to see, but it still has its merit for being a decently well put-together superhero origin story. But how does it hold up after seven years? Continue reading

It goes without saying, you must see Batman Begins and The Dark Knight before you step one foot inside the theater for The Dark Knight Rises. This film has had fanyboys/girls’ loins wet from over excitement since the last shot of The Dark Knight with Batman escaping into the night. There are many great actors that hold together this epic, epic trilogy, but where else have you seen them before? I’m going to take you deep into the bowels of some of Gotham elite’s filmography, and present to you some films that highly reflect all of the actor’s talented abilities. Continue reading

I Pity the Fool Who Doesn’t Check Out The A-Team Trailer
The first full trailer for The A-Team has been released and it looks pretty great actually. This is how the G.I. Joe movie should have been done. It still may be a little far fetched and corny at times, but it does look like it should be pretty entertaining. The A-Team stars Liam Neeson as Col. John “Hannibal” Smith, Bradley Cooper as the playboy mercenary role of Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, Sharlto Copley as Capt. ‘Howling Mad’ Murdock, and UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson as B.A. Baracus. Look out for this film to be released June 11th! Check out the trailer after the jump!
