Movies on Blu-Ray
Godzilla (2014) (Gareth Edwards) The world’s most famous monster is pitted against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence. Starring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Bryan Cranston, Ken Watanabe, and Sally Hawkings
For as much good as the Godzilla reboot was to the franchise it’s still a pretty terrible movie. Sure the visuals were beautiful, but there was nothing inherently fantastic that makes me want to rush out to see this film again – my review. Special features included are:
- MONARCH: Declassified:
- Operation: Lucky Dragon
- MONARCH: The M.U.T.O. File
- The Godzilla Revelation
- The Legendary Godzilla”
- Godzilla: Force of Nature
- A Whole New Level Of Destruction
- Into The Void: The H.A.L.O. Jump
- Ancient Enemy: The M.U.T.O.s
The Fault in Our Stars (Josh Boone) Hazel and Gus are two teenagers who share an acerbic wit, a disdain for the conventional, and a love that sweeps them on a journey. Their relationship is all the more miraculous given that Hazel’s other constant companion is an oxygen tank, Gus jokes about his prosthetic leg, and they met and fell in love at a cancer support group. Starring Shailene Woodley, Ansel Elgort, Nat Wolff, and Laura Dern
Despite the overload of young adult novels on the big screen, The Fault in Our Stars is pretty manageable thanks to its cast and script. Despite everyone saying it will be the saddest movie since Marley & Me, all I can say is that I must have lost my ability to have human emotions about others pain where as a movie about animals hits me right in the feels. Special features includes:
- Extended and Theatrical Versions of the Film (Special Edition Only)
- Infinity Bracelet Gift with Purchase (Special Edition Only)
- Six Promotional Featurettes
- Six Deleted Scenes
- The Stars Align: Book to screen
