After the recent announcement of an HD release of Cowboy Bebop, one of the most celebrated animes of our generation, it was only a matter of time before more details came rolling out. FUNimation has now released an official trailer along with special features details and premium edition artwork first looks. Check them out after the break.
I’ve been on a big anime kick lately. Recently, I became enamored with Attack on Titan; I devoured Kill la Kill; and will embark on Gurren Lagann very soon. But Cowboy Bebop will be my first love. Based on the premium editions below, I would be more prone to go for the Amazon bundle because I love art books and would be fascinated to see what they behold. The box is also more convenient than a vinyl record sleeve to sit in a bookshelf. But for those jazz fans out there, the FUNimation exclusive premium edition might be the one for you; it’s also about $30 cheaper too.

Directed by Shinichirō Watanabe and starring the English voice cast of Cowboy Bebop, Steve Blum, Beau Billingslea, Wendee Lee, Melissa Fahn, Paul St. Peter, and Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, here is official plot synopsis for Adventure Time Season 4:
Explore the far reaches of the galaxy in this undeniably hip series that inspired a generation – and redefined anime as an indisputable art form. The Bebop crew is just trying to make a buck. This motley lot of intergalactic loners teams up to track down fugitives and turn them in for cold hard cash. Spike is a hero whose cool façade hides a dark and deadly past. The pilot Jet is a bruiser of a brute who can’t wait to collect the next bounty. Faye Valentine is a femme fatale prone to breaking hearts and separating fools from their money. Along for the ride are the brilliant, but weird, hacker Ed and a super-genius Welsh Corgi named Ein. On their own, any one of them is likely to get lost in the sprawl of space, but together, they’re they most entertaining gang of bounty hunters in the year 2071.
Cowboy Bebop The Complete Series Blu-ray/DVD combo set will be available to own on December 16 via Funimation.
