‘Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens’ Trailer to Debut at 30 Select Theaters this Thanksgiving Weekend

Star Wars Episode VII The Force Awakens Early Trailer

Star Wars fans lucky enough to live near one of thirty select theaters in North America this weekend will be getting an early look at Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens. This teaser trailer was confirmed by Disney and director J.J. Abrams himself, who revealed the theater locations and length of the teaser trailer. Check out if you’re theater has been chosen after the break.

Although Regal Cinemas jumped the gun in an e-mail blast I received this morning, it has been confirmed that not only will Regal Cinemas debut the new teaser trailer, but also Cinemark and AMC Theatres. For those interested in exactly how much Episode VII footage will be shown, Abrams notes that it will be 88-seconds long.

If you can’t read director Abrams’ handwriting, it reads:

“A tiny* peek at what we’re working on – this Friday in select theaters. Hope you enjoy, and have a most excellent Thanksgiving! – Best, JJ”

It would be funny if the teaser was just the crawl. Their has been a lot of speculation as to who the villain(s) of The Force Awakens will be, and hopefully we’ll see who or what will be making causing a disturbance in the Force.
