Just days after the outrageously spectacular Super Bowl spot, Universal Pictures has released a new full-length trailer for Furious 7. Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) team is on full display with bigger action and higher stakes than ever before. With a grab bag mixture of serious business, fast cars, and high octane emotions, Furious 7 looks like it’ll give fans the best entry of the franchise yet. Check out the new trailer after the break.

Director James Wan (Insidious; Saw; The Conjuring) is definitely showing us here that he is a multifaceted filmmaker beyond his horror origins. Based on his previous work I don’t get a sense of a particular style from him, really, but this trailer presents Furious 7 as awe-inspiring to say the least. What was started as a little action-crime film about street racers has now become one of boldest, blockbuster series in cinema history. And with how emotionally driven this film will be with the late passing of Paul Walker, Furious 7 will surely be well attended.

The basic premise of the story is pretty much all laid out on the table for us, but there are little details we can tell that they’re keeping audiences in the dark about. I’m not sure what can top the ridiculous airport runway scene at the end of Fast & Furious 6, but based on the stunts in the first trailer and the new, intense scenes depicted in this new trailer, it will definitely do its damdest.
