BATTLESHOTS! Has come, well not really, but its in Brazil. Thanks to Attack of the Show, they have found a design student, Mauricio (Tony) Harion, in Brazil that created this wonderful masterpiece called Enigma. It is a creation that could be great for a bar or for your own home entertainment. The original post that explains that it is played just like the usual Battleship game with one addition. If you miss the target you drink a sip of water, and if you hit an enemy boat you opponent empties the corresponding shot glass. I doubt that it will come to America for awhile, but I can bet it would be easy to create with a few pieces of cardboard, duct tape, some sharpies and an hour or two to spare.
This is the extreme sporting event of the summer starts tomorrow (Friday, July 31st). This is a must see for those active in extreme sports of any kind. The Windy City Riot comes to you from all over Chicago and brings those from all over the nation to compete. It never is in the same spot and always promises not to disappoint. But what is the Windy City Riot you ask?
The Windy City Riot is an aggressive inline competition that takes place every year in Chicago as one of the biggest contests in rollerblading nationwide. The WCR was started by Travis Conn and the VFW crew in 2002. Travis managed to pull some heavy sponsorship from Red Bull for the first two years of the Riot resulting in a combined purse of about $7,000 between the two years. Once Red Bull pulled out, the Riot’s direction was passed on to Collin Martin. In 2007, the Windy City Riot joined forces with the Roll Series and was given the honor of hosting the first ever Roll Series North America Finals. In 2009, the WCR’s 8th year running, the WCR will be bigger and crazier than ever. It is likely that the purse will be over $1,000.
This year the events will take mainly in the south side and is another two day event. First day is pretty relaxed as the heavy competition heats up on the second day. You can check out details here at their official website: The Windy City Riot.

Tony Stark wants you to be a part of his company as viral marketing gets underway for the new Iron Man 2 movie. You can sign up here at Stark Industries. You can apply for a position and get news updates of Stark Industries. I can’t wait to see where this goes as the Dark Knight proved that viral marketing is a wonderful and fun thing.
Ok, so this started off as a mock/parody/remix viral video containing the infomercial of Slap Chop with the Shamwow guy, Vince Shlomi. It is now 2:14 am and I’m watching television and this remix appeared as a commercial. At first I thought it would be just a short clip of it to promote maybe Tosh.0 or Web Soup, but nope. I don’t know if Slap Chop can buy the rights to a viral video or something, but they actually used it for their advertisement and it was legit. I could only assume that some companies are now going to use “Sneezing Panda” or “Afro Ninja” for advertising next. Why Not?
According to The Washington Post, you have never had the safety of privacy even with an unlisted number. All your personal data is floating around: where you live, your number, your call record, and everything else is all up for sale on the Internet!!! OOhhhhh Dun dun dunnnnn……Zug.com has taken advantage of this news and decided to prank the CEO’s of Verizon. They registered on a free cell phone record site and looked up the top 3 CEO’s of Verizon. Only one was found due to the uniqueness of his name, but everything was listed. Ivan Seidenberg’s information was found within just about three minutes and the prank had began. John Hardgrave from Zug decided to visit Mr. Seidenberg and yell into a loudspeaker and deliver a message on behalf of all Verizon customers. Unfortunately there was no response, but the video outcome was pretty funny and he was chased away by his neighbors dog. Check out the video hereeeeee………
Dutch brewing giant Grolsch has launched an iPhone app to test drinkers if they are too inebriated to drive.
The “Walk the Line” app was launched at the North Sea Jazz Festival in the Netherlands. Users who got a high score were offered the chance to get a free festival photograph taken at the Grolsch bar, but those with a low score were invited to join the Grolsch team for a drink of water.
While the app is not actually an alcohol test, Grolsch says it aims to encourage festival-goers to monitor their alcohol consumption in a “fun, innovative way” and share it with their friends.
Grolsch is taking the concept to other major music festivals this summer, with promotions staff encouraging participants to download and play with the app.
Marvellous, Amsterdam, part of Aegis Group’s Isobar network, created the app using the iPhone’s motion-sensing accelerometer. It is also available in a generic version. But it’s not available in the U.S. – ADage

Today, I stumbled upon a few banned German Sprite ads that are pretty suggestive aka hilarious. You can obviously tell why it is banned, but hey, it’s pretty funny. Once again, the old saying goes, ‘sex sells,’ but perhaps some people might turn away from the idea of a Spirte money shot? Just take a look:
Due to so much copyright infringement I took some ad stills so you can see it in photos, after the jump:
If you ever plan to get married, never show this video to your future fiance. This just puts almost every marriage proposal to shame. Well I’ll scratch Disney off the list of places of even thinking about asking someone to marry me.
The line up for Disney’s Comic-Con appearance has surfaced and set for San Diego. Expect news about Toy Story 3, Ponyo, A Christmas Carol, Alice in Wonderland and Tron!!! Didn’t even know Disney was a part of Comic-Con, but hey, go figure.
