Rise of the Machines……
Nanotechnology is becoming very creepy and increasingly inventive. This new technology called the ViRob can travel through your veins?! This little buddy can travel in openings no small than 3mm and can go up to 9mm a second. An ear canal is about 9mm and an average vein is about 7mm, so this little guy should have no problem with his veiny adventure. Oh what’s next.
R.I.P. David Carradine
Kung Fu legend and Bill in Kill Bill was recently found dead in his hotel room in Bangkok. Those at the BBC have the article and Carradine was found and assumed that he hung himself. He was recently overseas shooting one of his new movie, Stretch.
Whopper Freakout wins Effie
Due to their outrageous campaign to boost sales with the Whopper, this campaign has won the Effie for the restaurant category. What is an Effie – The Effie Awards were founded in 1968 by the American Marketing Association, New York Chapter, as an awards program to recognize the most effective advertising efforts in the United States each year (effie.org). This is a great accomplishment for their effective and very creative marketing campaign. Congrats!
Another notable Effie winner this year are, Dos Equis Most Interesting Man for alcoholic beverages.

Beauty is in the Eye of the Ad Industry
A great article has come across my mitts about the strange advertising campaigns at Unilever. To those not within the advertising game, Unilever creates products such as Dove Soap and Axe. One brand tells women to believe in themselves and feel beautiful, while on the other end of the spectrum we have a brand who sells products to 13 year old boys, telling them to try and attract women with their sex appeal. Silly silly ad industry.
Skynet is one step further to becoming real…
A.I. will take over the Earth soon if these silly video game developers continue on pushing the edge… very geniuous. E3 has just shown the first new age technology in the videogame wars.

Created by Lionhead, this new videogame interacts you with a “boy” named Milo. This fellow will talk back to you in real time with conversations, show emotions, play, and everything else you probably could think of. This is the new age of video games and video capturing. You can draw a picture and hand it to him and it will recognize what you drew. Intrigued? Check this out –
Project Natal
Another form of videogame that places you as the controller. A new age of motion capture without all the little balls
around your body. This motion capture will sense your body type and motion to place you basically in the video game. It can sense dimenions and all as you can hit balls, drive and even paint. The controller wars are on even tho PS3 has demoed a new Wiimote like controller (ps3 motion sensor controller) , but it seems Xbox has one step ahead of them with Natal,
