Toy Story 3 Meets LOST
Although Randy Newman composed the music for Toy Story 3, YouTube user FixiousMaximus decided it would be best to mesh Michael Giacchino’s score from LOST with one of the most depressing intense scenes from this summer’s Toy Story 3. Spoiler Warnings Beware, this video should not be scene if you have not scene Toy Story 3 and you don’t want anything major being ruined for you. If you have seen Toy Story 3 and love LOST, by all means, this video is for you.
Giacchino’s score mixes so well with this moment. As any LOST fan knows, when this certain piece of music begins that your tear ducts should be on full alert and you should locate the nearest kleenex as soon as possible. Check out the great video after the break!

Team Unicorn’s “Geek and Gamer Girls” Music Video
Team Unicorn, a group of lovely ladies promoting the existence of Gamer/Geek girls in the world, have come together to create a parody video of Katy Perry’s “California Gurls.” This is just the start of what I would assume to be an ongoing collaboration of musical numbers, skits, and fun videos expressing the love of gamer/geek girls. The core group consists of Michele Boyd (The Guild), Clare Grant (Robot Chicken), Milynn Sarley, and Rileah Vanderbilt (Hatchet).
Their big hit debut, “G33k & G4m3r Girls” also known as the “Geek and Gamer Girls Song,” was directed by David Yarvo and premiered early September. Within a week, the music video gained over one million views on Break.com. With appearances by Seth Green (husband of Clare Grant), Stan Lee, and Battlestar Galactica’s Katee Sackhoff, full nerdery was in order. Check out the awesome video after the break!

Pinkberry: The Movie
The William Morris Agency, an entertainment agency, put together a short film spoofing the very industry it is a part of. With a Tom Cruise “Jerry McGuire” esque look-a-like running the agency looking for next big thing, it is not too far from the truth to where the film industry is heading for ideas for the next big blockbuster. With Battleship, Candyland, more remakes, and more 3D films in the works, why not make Pinkberry: The Movie? You have to tie in all the films these day to marketing products. This short was directed by Dave Green, and the “Ari” like agency head is played by Miles Fisher. The WME agents who took part include Dave Wirtschafter, Rob Carlson, Kim Bilek, Simon Faber, Jason Spitz, David Karp and David Lubliner with a Rob Cohen cameo. Check out the video after the jump to indulge in the next big Summer blockbuster.
The Short Film and Story Behind Mortal Kombat: Rebirth
Last week, a seven minute short film spread like wild fire across the Interwebs and had geeks salivating by the buckets full. Mortal Kombat: Rebirth has now had close to four million views and rising. This short film puzzled viewers as to the origin and what this was promoting if it was promoting anything at all. With E3 on it’s way many thought it was to promote a new video game, others believed it was a promo for a new movie coming out, and some just thought it was made for fun. Continue after the jump to read what the real deal to this short film was!
