Thanks to The Film School Rejects, they have compiled a pretty good list of some great films you never would have guessed that were picked up and directed by women. Whodathunk?!

The Toy Story 3 trailer got sneaked online from a few sources and will be online shortly, but I have your fix.

This weekend is pretty bleak in terms of new movies. This “weakend” of October 9, 2009 does not offer anything on your plate for a healthy dose of movies, but there are slim pickin’s. Might as well go see Zombieland again………

There is only one movie you need to see this weekend of October 2, 2009, and that film is ZOMBIELAND! I’ll tell you the other movies, but it won’t make a difference

So Mr. Bay, you’re telling me Transformers 3 will be out July 1st 2011? And that Ehren Kruger is the only confirmed writer? Well sir I turn my cheek to you and bid you fairwell……
Mr. Bay’s post on his website:

Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.
Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.
P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.
Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.

Watch this awesome new trailer for the remake of A Nightmare On Elmstreet. Yes…… it is produced by Michael Bay, which he is 2 for 3 (the missed one is Friday The 13th remake), the others were good remakes. But I think this will be pretty classy and stay true to the original.

This weekend is packed full of movie goodness with monsters, robots, dancing, playboys and ghosts. Let’s see what is coming out to theaters this weekend and my report on what I advise for you to see.
Looky looky, new stills from Saw VI have been emerging and they are giving us little hints of what to expect.
Special Agent Strahm is dead, and Detective Hoffman has emerged as the unchallenged successor to Jigsaw’s legacy. However, when the FBI draws closer to Hoffman, he is forced to set a game into motion, and Jigsaw’s grand scheme is finally understood. Jigsaw’s game continues on October 23.

This could possibly be the strangest concept for a movie in a while. Enter Dwayne Johnson as the “The Tooth Fairy,” also known as Derek Thompson, a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids. When Derek discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand. At first, Derek “can’t handle the tooth” – bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers’ homes…doing what tooth fairies do. But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

Demons, love, meatballs and spies, this weekend is filled with everything and anything, I suppose, in the movie world. Here are some suggestions on what you should see this on the weekend of September 18, 2009.
