As many loyal Pixar fans may know, the studio likes to add little hidden gems in their films that increase the enjoyment for true Pixar geeks. Pixar has just released a few screenshots from Monsters University pointing out just where to find some of the most notorious Easter Eggs common in all of their films. I was able to spot most of them, but wasn’t able to find the Pizza Planet truck or A113, and I saw the film twice. Check out what you may have missed from Monsters University after the break. With less than a month to go, Disney•Pixar has released one final trailer for Monsters University in less than two weeks after the most recent one. We all know how powerful Pixar is in drawing an audience, but is a new trailer necessary ten days after the release of an already decent one? It’s not a bad trailer, it’s quite good, but could they be overloading fans of Monsters, Inc. with too much footage from the new movie? There is a slight spoiler in the new trailer, which you can find after the break. Watch at your own risk. Continue reading
I never thought it possible to infuse Andrew W.K. into a Disney•Pixar movie, but the fine folks in the marketing department made it possible in this brand new, fast-paced Monsters University trailer. For those in the Greek system, Monsters U. may resonate more than to a GDI (Gosh Darn Independent), but either way, this new footage promises a lot a laughs and a great new adventure for Mike and Sully. Check out the trailer after the jump. Continue reading
As many college students are aware, Greek Life life plays an important part of welcome week, making a pretty big presence on campus in order to gain the attention of the incoming freshmen. In Monsters University it is no different. From Oozma Kappa to Roar Omega Roar, there are a slew of different fraternities and sororities to choose from. After the jump, learn more about each Greek house in Monster University. Continue reading
It may be difficult to hear, but Pixar has hit a bit of a slump. With Cars 2 misfiring and Brave gaining mixed reviews–leaning more negatively, despite it’s Oscar win–the once glorified animation studio has seen better days. So why not bring back two characters everyone loves, again? A full theatrical trailer has been released for Monsters University. See for yourself, after the jump, whether or not Pixar has what it takes to pick itself up. Continue reading
Disney has finally debuted the first trailer for Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, based on the video game of the same name, on MySpace. Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Prince Dastan alongside of Gemma Arterton as Tamina, Alfred Molina (who we get a brief glimpse of in the trailer), Ben Kingsley, and Toby Kebbell. This looks actually pretty interesting for a videogame movie. Pretty epic I might say. It is gonna be a big popcorn summer flick and should be up against some stiff competition with Iron Man 2 next summer as well. Check out the trailer:
Note: the embedding might be disabled here and there so bare with me as I keep updating the video if it gets disabled.
