This following week marks the 5th Annual Comic-Con takeover from Zachary Levi’s Nerd HQ, once again invading PETCO Park with free events, interactive booths, meet and greets, panels, and more. It’s getting to be that time of year again when geeks and nerds start hunting down the perfect article of clothing, put last minute touches on props before convention season begins. Acquired by Fan Expo and taking place in an all new venue, the Dallas Comic Con is four times larger than previous years. Already, the celebrity guest list is incredibly impressive with almost the entire cast of Firefly/Serenity, Star Trek: The Next Generation cast members, and of course the amazing Stan Lee. Pixar’s ‘Monsters University’ Easter Eggs Revealed
As many loyal Pixar fans may know, the studio likes to add little hidden gems in their films that increase the enjoyment for true Pixar geeks. Pixar has just released a few screenshots from Monsters University pointing out just where to find some of the most notorious Easter Eggs common in all of their films. I was able to spot most of them, but wasn’t able to find the Pizza Planet truck or A113, and I saw the film twice. Check out what you may have missed from Monsters University after the break. With less than a month to go, Disney•Pixar has released one final trailer for Monsters University in less than two weeks after the most recent one. We all know how powerful Pixar is in drawing an audience, but is a new trailer necessary ten days after the release of an already decent one? It’s not a bad trailer, it’s quite good, but could they be overloading fans of Monsters, Inc. with too much footage from the new movie?
