The 2011 British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards have passed, but I found this great art from the event brochure that showcases illustrations from Adam Simpson. BAFTA (the British Academy of Film and Television Arts) Awards happened a little while back, but this artist, Travis Coburn, was chosen to draw up one of each best film nominees for this years BAFTA’s (Avatar, An Education, The Hurt Locker, Precious, and Up in the Air). These retro posters are pretty spiffy and I wish I was this cool to illustrate something like this, maybe if I had like a year to do it I could.
