LAIKA Live Exhibit Coming to San Diego Comic-Con 2018

Fans of the Oscar®-winning animation studio LAIKA, creators of Coraline, ParaNorman, The Boxtrolls and Kubo and the Two Strings, will be excited to hear that their LAIKA LIVE exhibit is set to return in celebration of San Diego for Comic-Con 2018. When the word “taser” is uttered, the best gut jerk reaction, these days, would be to yell, “Don’t tase me bro!” One photographer by the name of Patrick Hall wanted to go one step further by capturing the exact moment of pain when one is tased. Mondo is ressurecting the movie poster game, and invaded SXSW 2014 this year with their own Disney inspired art gallery entitled “Nothing’s Impossible.” In collaboration with Oh My Disney, Mondo worked with such artists as Olly Moss, Dave Perillo, Jeff Soto, Tom Whalen, and more to come up with this one of a kind experience for festival attendees. And on the last day, Stan Lee said, “Let thy rest.” After three full days of rubbing elbows with sweaty Hobbits, listening to unproportioned Batman’s growl, and seeing more slave Leia’s than Jabba’s sail barge, Sunday during Comic-Con is a day of re-cooperation.  There aren’t any really big names appearing on Sunday other than BBC’s Doctor Who, FX’s Sons of Anarchy, and an overview of the 15-year history of Harry Potter.
