SXSW 2014: Mondo’s Exclusive Disney Themed Gallery “Nothing’s Impossible”
Mondo is ressurecting the movie poster game, and invaded SXSW 2014 this year with their own Disney inspired art gallery entitled “Nothing’s Impossible.” In collaboration with Oh My Disney, Mondo worked with such artists as Olly Moss, Dave Perillo, Jeff Soto, Tom Whalen, and more to come up with this one of a kind experience for festival attendees. Neato: Animation Color Wheel
You meet a lot of strange and colorful individuals through all different kinds of animated features and shows. The genius minds over at Slate.com decided to create an amazing spectrum of color utilizing various different animated characters throughout time in honor of The Smurfs releasing this past weekend. There are so many iconic figures in this wheel that it brings way too much nostalgia that I might strike a tear. Doubtful since I removed my tear ducts in a surgery last fall. Political Cartoons can sometime be powerful stuff. Inspired by recent events, the Spanish blog Chibiboto, has created some faux movie posters for Finding Nemo 2. Some would say the film could be titled “Saving Nemo.” Check out the other posters after the jump!

Only 2 of the top 30 highest grossing films of this decade are original, did ya know that? Slash Film has compiled the list of the top grossing films and figured that most are not original stories. Most are based on a past film or tv show (remake/sequel), or an adaptation of an established property (be it a comic, book, play, toy…etc).
