To say I’m excited about 20th Century Fox‘s attempt at rebooting the Fantastic Four is one of the biggest understatements I could make this year. With that said, the first teaser trailer does little to grow my anticipation with how underwhelming it is. Utilizing tactics from brooding superhero films, the X-Men franchise, and Interstellar, the Fantastic Four reboot has a long way to go before I am convinced of its necessity.
